Emotions can affect a dog’s stomach, just as they do in people. Time away from you, along with being in a new environment and meeting new friends, can cause excitement or nervousness. This is quite common, monitor them and if it seems as if this issue is prolonged or other symptoms accompany this you may want to take them to get checked out at the vet.

We require your pup to be registered in our system with signed waiver and with all shots records already verified before your arrival so we can make sure we have everything we need before you get here. Please bring your pups food if you are wanting them to eat their regular meals, if not we can provide kibble for a per meal fee.

Your dog will be worn out from all the excitement and play, whether from lodging or daycare, no need to be alarmed it’s just cuddle time. 

We are able to give some medication for an added fee for administering medication. All medication must be in original prescription bottle with veterinary instructions printed on the bottle. Please only bring enough for your pups stay and also provide enough pill pockets if needed.

*We do not administer shots, nor take pups with any type of serious medical conditions like seizures, higher than a grade 2 heart murmur, or diabetes that could require immediate veterinary care.

Similar to added hunger, thirst is common with added play. Your pup has been busy playing while you were gone, just like you extra activity ramps up metabolism and thirst, no need to worry.

It’s normal for some dogs to experience separation anxiety, especially when routines change. To help them feel comfortable again, the best approach is to re-establish your normal daily routine.

Essential tips if your pup shows signs of anxiety.

  • Keep departures and arrivals calm and quick:
    Don’t make leaving or returning a big, emotional event, as this can increase their anxiety.
  • Encourage Independence:
    Practice leaving your dog in a room alone for short periods while you are home.
  • Exercise:
    A tired dog is a calm dog—a long walk before you leave can help immensely.

Your dog worked up an appetite, just as you do with vigorous work. No need to worry just a few more kibbles to their meals for the next day or so, soon it will return to normal.
